This program would allow me to build my leadership skills and confidence in leading professional development for my colleagues. I would like increase the knowledge base that I draw from as I spark students' scientific curiosity and interest in STEM careers, as well as incorporating more real-world examples and building inquiry learning opportunities to increase my students' understanding of scientific principles and processes. I believe that the principles that guide Nourish the Future will inspire me and help me to guide my students as they become change makers in the world.
